Known as the “Rice and Duck Capital of the World,” Stuttgart is steeped in agricultural history. Riceland Foods, the largest rice miller in the country, is headquartered here, where it provides services for its more-than 9,000 farmer-members in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and Texas who grow rice, soybeans and wheat. Each year, Riceland produces more than 2.5 million tons of grain! And each fall, the town hosts the annual Wings Over the Prairie Festival, a week of events that includes the World Championship Duck Calling Contest, a carnival, arts and crafts and a duck gumbo cook-off that brings massive crowds to Stuttgart’s downtown district. With real estate ranging from quaint neighborhoods to homes with plenty of acreage, Stuttgart has something for everyone.
