Jeanne Spencer, whose Little Rock garden is straight out of a Jane Austen novel, is not only a master gardener but also an avid hot tea drinker. We adore this image of her outdoor tablescape, festooned with hydrangea and blue-and-white china. And because no English lady of Jane Austen’s would take her tea without the proper attire, we also found this dress by Erdem, which is a little on the fancy side but nearly identical to Jeanne’s tabletop.

Considering Emilio Pucci was founded in Capri, nearly 40 years ago, it’s not surprising that a Pucci look would complement this Mediterranean-style outdoor space gracing the pages of our March Outdoor issue. Cozy, warm and functional. Isn’t that what a kitchen should be? This kitchen’s not only top notch in the beauty department, but also highly efficient. Task lighting, countertop drawers, sink side shelves, Wolf range, the works! Of course, these looks from Ralph Lauren aren’t too shabby in the looks and efficiency department either. Who knew cargo pants, boots and messenger bags could be so chic?

It’s the same vibe we get from the Little Rock Hillcrest-neighborhood apartment of Natalie Smith. Natalie, assistant to First Lady Ginger Beebe, traded in modern luxuries for classic details with her charming apartment, full of unexpected charm and updated with Natalie’s hand-me-down-chic style.

Considering how positively pretty they are, it’s no surprise Vivienne Tam decided to make peonies the focal point of her Spring 2009 Collection. “Every woman loves peonies,” Tam declared before her show.

This summer, and heading right into fall, one of the hottest color palettes for home and fashion is Coral + Turquoise. It’s popping up all over the place, from the runway to the pages of At Home in Arkansas. This season’s turquoise (dubbed “Lagoon” by Pantone) lends a lively, tropical touch to accessories, like a shawl or handbag or accent pillows in your home. And the more subtle pink-y orange grounds the bright blue as an ideal complement. Scott Paterek of Massimo incorporated it through terracotta marble against the waters of Lake Hamilton (below). Considering the beautiful result, we suggest you spend a little time thinking about ways to work this palette into your life this season too!
