Clients come to The Good Earth Garden Center:
For a great experience through quality workmanship, quality materials and a professional, knowledgeable staff.
The Good Earth’s design philosophy is:
To listen to our clients; we know that the better we understand our clients, the better we can accomplish his or her goals. So even if a landscaping project isn’t in the immediate future, start collecting images and ideas because your opinions and design style matter and it’s funny how cataloging them can bring a whole project into focus.
The Good Earth’s style is influenced by:
Our clients’ style, both of the home and of the family living in it. The ideal situation is for the landscape to be a perfect seamless complement to the rest of the space with unexpected details to create visual interest.
The most inspiring thing our pros have seen lately is:
The conservation trend. With advances in sprinkler systems and the availability of improved native species, it’s more possible than ever to have a truly low maintenance and visually impactful landscape.
Every landscape must have:
An outstanding, well thought out plan; a plan that considers the traffic flow, viewpoints and goals of the client while accomplishing the necessary functions. Plans change and evolve all the time and working from a strong foundation makes the evolution process more effective.
Share with us one of your go-to design resources:
One of the resources we refer to all the time is a book called “Timeless Landscape Design: The Four-Part Master Plan,” written by a husband and wife team of landscape architects, and focusing on looking at a property as a whole and considering the relationships of the house and its grounds throughout the design process.
