Her Art | Acrylics and oils on canvas. “I also use several non-traditional mediums, such as coffee, wild blueberries, beeswax, and sometimes even soil to create wonderful texture. ”
Subject Matter | “I’m a formalist in the sense that my initial focus is to simply make a beautiful, harmonious piece. I like to leave the rest up to the viewer.”
Art Inspiration | Post-war American art, which was created between 1945 and 1970.
Client Connection | “I tend to name my paintings with hopeful, uplifting sayings. I envision clients looking at my paintings in their spaces and having their spirits silently boosted as they pass by.”
Color Cues | “I often like to throw an unexpected color into my artwork. For example, I might pick a fluorescent green that is completely out of place, but somehow make it work with everything else.”
Dream Project | “My ultimate dream is to have a piece in the Crystal Bridges permanent collection.”
