Her Art | Tanya started with chalk pastels and has since moved to oil and acrylic on canvas works.

A New Hue | Terracotta touches have been showing up in her pieces recently. “I love that it warms up the painting and might feel a little unexpected.”

Favorite Subject | “I love creating happy abstracts. I’m inspired by color, design, fabric, and nature. My mind is constantly spinning creative ideas to put on canvas.”

Arkansas Inspiration | The people. “I love that you can travel all corners of the state and run into people you know. Arkansas is full of creative artists and designers, and there is inspiration everywhere.”

Creative Must-Have | “I listen to 103.7 while I paint. I love sports and like to cheer on the Razorbacks and Kansas City Chiefs.”

Her Dream Piece | “My dream piece would be placed in a cool boutique hotel. What an honor that would be.”
