His Art | Mixed media pieces. “I am constantly trying out different combinations of materials. You never know how one will react with the next.”

Most-Loved Hue | Green. “Currently I’m working on tone-on-tone pieces, while also playing with high contrast. It’s all about balance.”

Favorite Subject | The relationship between humans and nature. “All my artwork relates back to this combination in some capacity. It’s like yin and yang, really.”

Arkansas Inspiration | The constant change in the weather. “Arkansas can be 70 degrees one day and, two days later, we have a weeklong blizzard. My creative process is the same, jumping from one idea to another.”

Creative Must-Have | “Music! I always have a running ‘To listen to’ playlist made of new albums. I end up creating new art while discovering new music.”

Statement Maker | “My art over time has become more abstract, which is a reference to how nonchalant we have become about destroying our planet. Maybe art can create change.”
