24 DAYS AND COUNTING…
The First Annual Northwest Arkansas Fashion Week is set for March 5-10 at East Square Plaza in Fayetteville, and we highly suggest you make a beeline to NWAFW.com for tickets before it’s too late. And, if you’re feelin’ lucky, leave a comment on this blog post and you’ll be entered to win two tickets! (Today’s contest is closed, but we’ll be giving away two tickets each Thursday for the next month, so check back often and keep commenting on posts!)
Jade Terminella, of Lola Boutique, and Danielle Vaughan founded NWAFW with hopes of supporting local designers, boutiques and non-profits. Little did they know interest in NWAFW would spread like wildfire, and it’s now set to be a week packed full of runway shows, after parties and fashion events.
As a media sponsor, At Home is also happy to note that the seven participating charities–American Cancer Society, Spay Arkansas, Art Amiss, Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter, Restore Humanity, Seven Hills Homeless Shelter and Single Parent Scholarship Fund–will keep 100 percent of the proceeds generated from ticket sales.
Fashion and charity? It’s a win-win.
In addition to designer Chris Goddard, who is on the board of directors, you might recognize a few of the other boutiques and design enthusiasts who will be taking part:
Anna of Tulip Louise (and an At Home blog columnist)
Emily, Jessica and Lynlee of Mae’s Emporium, Strut for a Mutt
