At Home in Arkansas is a very proud sponsor of tomorrow’s ReStore & After Silent Auction benefiting Habitat of Humanity of Pulaski County! The savvy sponsor that we are, we decided to join in restoring a piece of furniture that will be auctioned off, and here’s a sneak peek of what our art director, Mandy Keener, created! We hope you’ll come out, enjoy the entertainment, food and great conversation, all while helping a good cause.

Let’s get the painting started…now, this I can do all day long. A good coat of primer and she’s ready for the custom color, “Mandy’s Chair Match,†which is available at Sherwin-Williams if you like it, too. I prefer the mini rollers for furniture. They create a smooth even color. Then I use a sponge brush to get in those harder to reach areas.
