Visitors to CARTI Cancer Center in Little Rock have a little more color and cheer thanks to the Hans Peter Braunfisch Blooming Garden installed by six Pulaski County Master Gardeners last summer. The garden consists of more than 500 plants, and the committee has continued to give their time to maintaining the garden.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Master Gardeners for their efforts designing and maintaining this garden,” says Adam Head, CARTI president and CEO. “As one of the first areas our patients and visitors see once they arrive on campus, the garden is integral in reflecting hope and healing. Our patients and their guests attest to its positive impact during their cancer journey, and it’s often mentioned as one of their favorite spots to visit.”
