Interiors, floral, and event designer Laurie Miller has launched an online store for her brand, The Velvet Boxwood. She cites the song “Home For the Holidays” as the line’s inspiration. “That song is one of my favorite Christmas songs without a doubt, and I truly feel it captures the reason I wanted to show Christmas through the eyes of The Velvet Boxwood,” Laurie says.
The 2020 holiday line features ornaments, fresh wreaths, stockings, pillows, linen napkins, art prints, gift tags, etched glass serving pieces, and European antiques. “It’s completely filled with Southern warmth and European flair,” Laurie says of the designs, which feature a palette of “dreamy blues, lavenders, and mochas.”
