Ever wonder which items your favorite designers, tastemakers and folks about town just canât live without? We definitely do! To sate our curiosity, weâre asking a different person to share a few of their favorite things each week. This week, At Home in Arkansas featured blogger, mom and illustrator Hannah Alexander is sharing her must-have items:
1. Kinfolk Magazine
If only I could jump into the pages of Kinfolk Magazine and live there and raise my family there and retire there. It is both reminiscent of a time that once was and ahead of the current trends.
I like art that is a bit curious or whimsical, nothing too strange, just different enough to make you take a second look. That is why I love this Animal Locomotion print.
When I got married I was pressured into “registering”. I didn’t know myself stylistically at the time and wasn’t ready to buy a bunch of flatware and dinnerware, etc. But I caved. Now I own flatware that does NOT look as awesome as this gold-dipped flatware from Anthropologie. C’est la vie.
I love this necklace because it mixes structured and sleek, gold metal with playful beads and colors.
5. “What Good…” Enamel Steel Sign
“What good shall I do this day?” This is what Benjamin Franklin asked himself at the start of each day. I want it in every room of my house!
