Yesterday I asked our At Home Facebook friends what kinds of blog posts they’d most like to see. Before & Afters were the overwhelming favorite, and color was a close second. Perfect timing for this amazing kitchen makeover, courtesy of homeowners Brent & Anita Sipe in the south Arkansas town of Camden. The Sipe’s have a thing for re-dos, and when they’re not busy running their store, Blann Hardware, they’re making over homes.
The kitchen in their latest home had even these reno pros challenged. But the Sipes had vision, and these color-lovers kept the bones of the room intact, tore out the cabinetry and island, and gave the room a colorful overhaul.
And in the breakfast room, where windows made positioning a table and chairs difficult, 
the Sipes came up with the creative idea of building in a banquette.
Bright blue, bold orange and dashes of dark brown form the room’s color palette, with glass tile for the backsplash and natural maple cabinets. Here’s how the Sipes pulled the colors together:
