With decades of experience and an open-minded perspective, Harper Howey Interiors is the perfect fit to create a space that tells your story
“This is my calling,” Kimberly Harper recalls feeling after an internship with a designer. This early passion led her to study interior design at the University of Arkansas and eventually open her own business in 1998. After 25 years, Kimberly partnered with Cynthia Howey Tune, who has a background in accounting, to serve as project manager. Harper Howey Interiors has been practicing residential and commercial design ever since.
Inspired by her love of art, fashion and travel, Kimberly’s work is client-centric and open-minded. She describes her work as “curated, collected and layered while reflecting each individual client.” Harper Howey Interiors “caters to a busy executive or someone building their dream house,” Cynthia says.
Currently, Kimberly loves the return of rounded forms in furnishings and the utilization of wallpaper on the ceiling. “It is often considered the fifth wall!” Kimberly states. Despite a love for trends, the designer prioritizes reusing items with importance to her client. “If it is a light fixture that has been in the family for 50 years or a sentimental piece of art that was collected over travels,” Kimberly desires to tell a story through these special pieces.
