Since starting her business in 1994, Shayla Copas has seen her company grow into a luxury brand that encompasses design, entertaining, public speaking, and marketing savvy. “If I had to describe my personal style in just two words, it would be ‘Southern glam,’” she says. “In fact, the Design Network named my spot on their network Southern Glam after that style. It’s that place where Old Hollywood glamour and timeless Southern tradition meet.”
While Shayla’s style is undeniable, it’s also her ability to deliver projects within the client’s restrictions that has earned her praise both locally and nationally. “Our rigorous project-intake process ensures the end result is an accurate reflection of the client’s tastes, but also has the polish only a professional design firm can provide,” Shayla says.
In addition to her accomplishments as a designer, Shayla added “author” to her list of descriptors this spring with the release of her first book, Four Seasons of Entertaining. “For as long as I can remember, I have always had a passion for entertaining and bringing family and friends together for special occasions,” she says.
