With an expansive design style and devotion to her clients, Peri-Gay Walker of VIPG Designs brings a homeowner’s wish list to life
Peri-Gay Walker’s love of elaborate holiday decorations led to the opening of her design business, VIPG Designs, in 2012. However, her passion for design began early: “My mom was always very creative and decorated our home beautifully…I
think she had a lot to do with inspiring me along the way,” Peri-Gay says. “I took my ‘inherited ability’ and started buying numerous décor, architecture, and style books to educate myself beyond just having good taste,” she says.
The designer’s personal style is varied, from old world to casual, French country to most recently, a nod toward modernism. A consistent element for VIPG Designs is a love of glam. Concerning trends, Peri-Gay admires acrylic furniture, blush feminine tones, and velvet, though she states, “that’s never been ‘out’ to me!”
Peri-Gay’s devotion to her work is evident. “I love spending time with my clients, love our shopping days, and love getting to know them. Once a project is complete, I truly miss my clients and the spaces we have created together.”
