The sisters love to entertain! To us, it’s so much more fun to gather with friends and family in your own home than to go to a restaurant where you reallly can’t visit with everyone.

Like many of you, we are very, very busy and don’t have a lot of time for cooking and party planning. With the holidays behind us and Spring still far away, it’s very tempting to just hibernate and lose touch with our friends and the ones we love.
So…we’ve learned that the best way to entertain this time of year is to go cozy, casual, and comfortable. Our approach? Invite a few friends over and tell them to come exactly as they are, to just wear sweaters and jeans…

Try this simple recipe for spicy Saltines that your guests will be talking about for days. The best part is that you can make them in advance and freeze them!

FIRECRACKERS
you’ll need:
1 box of Saltine crackers
1 1/2 cup of oil
1 packet of ranch dressing
2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. crushed red pepper
Place your crackers into a large container that can be sealed with a fitted lid.
Mix the remaining ingredients, and pour mixture over crackers.
Seal and gently toss. Serve after 48 hours of coating.
Bring out the special wine or maybe stir up a pitcher of fabulous sangria…
