There’s nothing quite like the taste of a sweet, juicy Arkansas strawberry. Come spring, the clamor for the vine-ripened fruits begins. By the carton or the flat, pickers from around the state head to farms to purchase the bright red, ready-to-eat beauties. While some will no doubt be eaten on the drive home, the majority make their way into jams, strawberry shortcake stacks, or breakfast bowls to be enjoyed.
