A Heights family home receives an artful renovation at the hands of designer Lauren Blair and layers of seasonal décor by Tanarah Luxe Floral
Naturally Christmas
Floral designer Tanarah Haynie of Tanarah Luxe Floral infuses a family home with natural, down-to-earth décor for the season

In the cold winter months, a walk through the front door of this West Little Rock home feels like putting on your favorite sweater. The rich green and taupe palette along with the rustic charm of this spacious equestrian-inspired house provides the perfect backdrop for Tanarah Haynie of Tanarah Luxe Floral to create a lush and natural traditional holiday setting. When Haynie first began working with the homeowners, it was obvious that family memories and tradition meant everything to them. With five grown children, many Christmases have been celebrated here, and it’s always a joyful season of togetherness. “I really like to create a special environment for the kids at the holidays,” the homeowner says.

Full House
A once dark, Tudor-inspired home gets a light, bright makeover to welcome a large family home for the holidays

If three is a crowd, then 19 is, well, a full house. Just ask the Stowers family, who were quickly outgrowing their traditional home in the Pleasant Valley area of Little Rock. However, rather than an extensive real estate search, their new home came by way of an unexpected swap.

Naturally Beautiful
It just doesn’t feel like Christmas until the décor goes up. Whether you start decking the halls on Thanksgiving night or moments before holiday guests arrive, a wreath can be a simple statement that speaks volumes in the way of welcomes and glad tidings. This year, we asked floral designer and owner of Flowers & Home, Monroe Cranford, to share his take on a fresh holiday wreath. Designed with blue cedar, seeded eucalyptus, silver brunia, safari sunset, blue thistle, and red dogwood branches, his creation is accented with some of the season’s most-loved edibles, including clementines, red pears, and walnuts. How’s that for a natural way to usher in the season?
