Every photo shoot, I end up with a favorite picture, and it’s usually the one that’s a little unexpected–a good surprise. That was the case when Nancy Nolan was shooting this photo of Eden Moody in her nursery. She did the usual shot of Eden sitting on the bed smiling, but the real beauty was when Eden started climbing around and Nancy got this great shot with Eden’s face reflected in the mirror.
The room itself is a lovely as it’s little occupant and was designed by Cobblestone & Vine’s Janna Toland. Notice the great draperies with smocked tops that look like little girls’ dresses.

The softly aged wall treatment, by Spring Cottage Design in Hot Springs, makes it feel like a cozy nest, topped with artist Eric Maurus’ cherubic mural.
