A Q&A about Cambria quartz with senior market representative Hollie Bayles | Sponsored Content
From durable work surfaces to eye-catching stone installations, nothing makes quite as large an impact in your home than your countertop surfaces. And when it comes to choosing a material that will stand the test of time, Cambria quartz can’t be beat: It’s durable, nonabsorbent, and easy to maintain with a lifetime warranty. Recently we spoke with Hollie Bayles, Cambria’s senior market representative for Arkansas, about what makes this product so special.
Q: What sets Cambria apart from other quartz manufacturers?
A: Cambria is the only American-made and family-owned quartz manufacturer. We’ve been operating for 23 years and, unlike other manufacturers, Cambria is made in one plant—which creates more quality and consistency of our product. We only use clear and white quartz, which gives us a pristine look with intense clarity. Cambria also owns its own mine source and that affords us the ability to be very particular on the raw materials we use. The materials that we do not use are either sold or recycled.
Q: What is the lead-time on Cambria products right now?
A: Since we are made in the US, our lead times are historically very short. Ninety percent of our palette is available immediately, and we now have at least one weekly delivery to Arkansas. Due to high demand, our luxury designs are the most sought after, and lead times for those are 3-6 weeks on average; however, we are in the middle of a large expansion at the plant and by the end of 2022, our luxury designs will also be available immediately. We launch anywhere between 15 and 20 new designs each year.
Q: What are some of the most popular products and trends at the moment?
A: We are seeing a lot of quartz vertical applications recently, including wall treatments for full-height backsplashes, elevators, and showers. We are also seeing many furniture applications from side tables to dining room tables and even stair treads.
Q: Does Cambria have any resources for helping homeowners during the design process?
A: We have a virtual tool on our website that lets you see design applications of your choice along with your cabinets, paint color, etc. You can also download the Cambria app, which is a virtual reality tool that lets you scan the countertop in your space and virtually add on over 200 designs in under two minutes. This is a great help and allows you to see Cambria designs on your existing cabinetry.
