English Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery Center
Dr. Jim English has been at the helm of English Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery Center for more than 35 years. In addition to a full range of cosmetic surgery procedures, Dr. English offers non-surgical solutions such as hydrafacials, botox, fillers, and laser hair removal. He’s joined by a team of qualified individuals, including Diane Orrell, RN, and aesthetician Stefanie Ashley, who offered advice on these procedures for the summer. “Hydrafacials result in a more hydrated, bright, and clear complexion,” Stefanie says. “Over time with consistent scheduling and treatment, you can also expect a reduction of fine lines, increased firmness, even tone and texture, and lightened brown spots.” Hydrafacials can also reduce the appearance of large pores and allow skin care products to penetrate the skin more effectively.
Another popular treatment in preparation for summer is laser hair removal—and it’s never too early to plan ahead. “You’ll need at least six treatments, so we recommend starting 6-8 months in advance to be beach ready,” Diane says. It’s also important to remember to care for your skin before, during, and after these treatments. Dr. English’s office recommends staying out of the sun for 4 weeks before and after a laser hair removal session to avoid hyperpigmentation and sunburning.
Dr. English’s office also offers his own line of products that will hydrate and replenish your skin.
