Inspiration is everywhere. Today, art director (and music aficionado) Mandy Keener debuts her “Cover with Style” blog series, an homage to her favorite album covers and, coincidentally, how they relate to her favorite homes and spaces. We’re loving it! And if you’re a music buff, we think you will too.

I have always been inspired by album covers, even as a child by my parents’ (specifically my mom’s) collection of Beatles, to Dad’s Elvis albums, to my very own record player blaring tunes from Sesame Street and Alvin and the Chimpmunks. So, it hit me one day: I love music and I love design, so why not mash them together? And here ya go. Home is where the music plays….enjoy these spaces and turn up the music.

What’s great about this one is that the home featured is a waterfront home (click here for more images) and one of the songs on this album is “wade in the water.” Coincidence or does someone else enjoy dining with Dylan as well?
