We began with Parkinson Building Group from the earliest planning stages and our clients all the way through to the last interior decorating detail for this house. Things didn’t just happen…almost every single element has a story behind it. None of us were ever satisfied with anything the way it was. We re-finished, re-furbished and re-vamped anything and everything to achieve the end result that we all desired.
Fabulous old doors were cleaned up and now grace the interiors…
If we couldn’t find what we needed we had it made…
We planned for sconces to be mounted on the rock wall between the kitchen and family room…When we held them up to determine the height for installation they were just too dinky…but a light bulb went off… we raced to our warehouse to dig up a pair of old lanterns that had been there for quite some time. With shaking arms sister held them up for me to take a picture to send to our client who was out of town…She loved them! They are just one of many outstanding features in this fabulous home.
We searched everywhere…and even in the rain for the perfect architecturals, lighting and furnishings.
This beautiful piece of iron is now a unique fire screen for the outdoor fireplace…

We will be working with Chip and his awesome team capturing the entire story of this home that was nearly two years in the making. A real labor of love. We didn’t even know the Bottins when we started this process and now we count them among our dearest friends. You don’t want to miss the June issue of At Home in Arkansas.
