There’s a new spin on Tex-Mex in town and it’s inspiring our color palette this week. Heights Taco & Tamale Company will be open later this fall, and we couldn’t be more excited. The culinary geniuses behind the brand gave us a glimpse into the test kitchen. “Mexican food is in my blood,” says Scott McGehee, executive chef of Yellow Rocket Concepts and one of four owners of the group’s newest venture, Heights Taco & Tamale Company. With their fresh take on Mexican food, comes a light and colorful palette with natural textures. The table setting says it all; casual and comfortable, just as the newly renovated restaurant will be. We’ve pulled together a palette that’s sure to inspire. Click here to read the full story online or grab a copy of the September “Kitchen & Bath” issue on newsstands now.
