OCCUPATION: Executive director of Potluck—Food Rescue, which is Arkansas’ only food rescue organization and bridges the gap between excess food and the hungry.
BEST KNOWN FOR: In the 17 years I’ve been with Potluck, you could say I’ve been a pretty good grant writer. I’ve written more than $2 million in grants for the organization, helping us grow from one truck and 23 donors to four trucks and more than 200 donors. In 2010, we recovered more than 4.5 million pounds of food.
LIVES IN: The Cammack Village neighborhood in Little Rock, in a house that was built in 1950. It’s a small, wonderful cottage that lives large.
MY FAVORITE PART OF MY HOUSE IS: My home office, which also serves as a den and a guestroom. My wonderful house is less than 1,000 square feet, and every room does double duty. This room does triple duty, with a desk, a television cabinet and a loveseat that converts to a bed.

OCCUPATION: Landscape designer and contractor. My husband, Brad, and I have owned our business, Nature Company, for 27 years.
BEST KNOWN FOR: Residential landscapes. I’m not known for one style, because I suit the style to the client; I consider listening to them—learning what they want and how they want to enjoy their yard—the most important element of my job. But in my own garden, I’m known for a bit of controlled chaos: a garden with good bones and a softness that plays off the structure.
LIVES IN: West Little Rock, in a contemporary home that we renovated and moved into last summer. We’re still growing into and learning this house.
MY FAVORITE PART OF MY HOUSE IS: By the fireplace, which is in the open living and kitchen area we created during the renovation. When our daughter Kate and son Hayes are home, it’s a wonderful place for all of us to hang out. And our dogs, Amos and Tucker, curl up next to the fireplace with me and instantly fall asleep.

Occupation: I’ve been an artist since the age of four. I’ve always worked for myself, and I mainly paint and create sculpture.
Best known for: My representational and figurative sculptures, which incorporate humor, fantasy and my imagination.
Married to: Craig O’Neill, news anchor on KTHV.
Lives in: A 1927 bungalow in Little Rock’s Heights neighborhood. We bought it in 1976, remodeled in the 80s, raised our two kids here and never left. It’s the first and only house we’ve ever bought.
