For today’s Monday Must Haves, we asked interior designer and At Home’s resident fashion blogger, Meridith Hamilton to share her the items she can’t live without. We love Meridith’s monthly column on the At Home blog that takes runway style and applies it to interior design. Check out her At Home posts here and her personal blog here.
1. Smythson Journals -Â For notes, ideas, witty things my daughter says, etc.
4. Accessories – Namely, large cuffs and fabulous shoes.
We are so excited to welcome our new managing editor, Tiffany Burgess, to the At Home in Arkansas team! Tiffany has been an editorial contributor to At Home since 2010, writing feature stories and Collections. We’re happy to have her as our newest addition and thought we’d get to know her a little better this Monday by finding out what five things she can’t live without.
1. Bracelets & Monograms
Iâm a big fan of arm candy! I often wear a single cuff or a collection of bangles. My love for bracelets is equally matched by my fondness for monograms (Iâm a Southern girl!). Whatâs better than pairing the two? I love this version for fall.
2. May Books
Their motto says it all â âLifeâs too short for ugly notebooks!â I couldnât agree more. From planners to notepads, these colorful books could brighten any desk.
I love, love, love jadeite. I started a true collection about four years ago and continue to add to it. The plates, platters and bowls make great décor, while the teacups are just the right size for sipping morning coffee.
4. Peacock Blue
This is my go-to color for the moment. I would love to paint a flea-market chest in this Benjamin Moore version of the shade.
While Iâm enjoying the cooler days of fall, Iâm a warm-weather girl at heart. This light fragrance reminds me of the sweetness of spring and summer.
Happy Monday! Today, we’re excited to have Narcissa Jackson here to share some of her favorite cozy must haves for fall. It’s no surprise you may even find a few of these picks in her shop, Bella Boutique in Little Rock.
This is the absolute best moisturizer. It helps any skin type survive the winter elements.
Heather Smith, owner of Eggshells Kitchen Company in Little Rock, certainly knows her way around the kitchen and how to make whipping up dinner simple. Today we asked her to share a few of her favorites for cooking, sipping, or simply hanging out around town. See what she chose as her must have items…
As the owner of Savoir-Faire, located on the Fayetteville Square, Tess Labeth can tell you the hottest trends for fashion, jewelry and accessories. But, as someone who knows the latest-and-greatest, what does she prefer? For this week’s Monday Must Haves, we asked her to share a few things she can’t live without.
1. Olive Anorak Call me crazy, but I loathe putting on a coat. Iâve always dressed in layers to stay cozy, but there are still times when I need a little something heavier, enter olive anorak. Olive is so easy to pair with almost any color, and the lightweight fabric is great as an extra layer without the overwhelming, stuffy, coat-like feel. Also, it’s super simple to transition from season to season.
2. Kate Spade Tech Accessories I almost always have my phone in hand, MacBook in lap, or iPad floating around somewhere to and from the shop. Kate Spade has the best tech accessories to jazz up my multitasking tech-driven life.
3. Clarisonic Taking care of my skin is very important and my Clarisonic makes it that much easier. It provides a different level of cleanliness and makes my skin soft and smooth while adding the perfect glow.
4. Blank Denim These jeans are the epitome of comfort. While I love long flowy dresses and fun fancy pants, there is nothing better than the perfect pair of jeans. Greatest Hits Skinny by BlankNYC is by far my favorite pair to wear dressed up or dressed down.
5. Red Lips⦠Iâm a lover of red lips. Russian Red by MAC is the best for all-day wear without drying out my lips. Itâs the perfect hue to take from morning until night, and does wonders for any smile.
