Harper Howey Interiors brings a casual, shore-inspried style throughout this Fayetteville home. We’re showcasing the family’s formal dining room this week. The home is designed with inspiration from the homeowner’s favorite beach spot, Rosemary Beach, which is along Florida’s Scenic Highway 30A. Homes in the area often feature a cool palette of ocean-inspired blues and greens, slipcovered furniture, and weathered wood. Used for holidays and special gatherings, the dining room’s more formal design still ties in with the overall look of the home. The upholstered bench is the perfect perch for children and brings a sunny yellow into the room’s palette. Read the full story online here or find a copy of the June issue on newsstands.
We’re kicking off this month with our all-new May “Before & After” issue. It’s packed full of fresh ideas for every room in your home, including a few outdoor spaces. We’re all ready to entertain al fresco, right? This Little Rock home renovation included a team who transformed it to fit the homeowners needs perfectly, including architect Tom Fennell and designer Bill Beringer. After hearing the couple’s needs, Fennell decided to enlarge the back of the house by more than twenty feet, which also allowed for this spacious new covered deck. Accessible from the great room and kitchen, it’s furnished with comfortable pieces in the same neutral palette as the home’s interior. January = organization for many of us. Our advice is to start small and work your way up to larger rooms. For instance, tackle your pantry with storage accessories like these. Oh, and don’t forget to add a dash of color while you’re whipping up the new look.
