The Art Group was founded nearly two decades ago when several Little Rock artists came together to share an art studio. In 2013, the artists officially opened a gallery, The Art Group Gallery, in Pleasant Ridge Shopping Center. At Home in Arkansas: Tell us a little about you. Are you an Arkansas native? Do you work full-time as an artist?
Vonda Rainey: I was born and raised in Little Rock. I am currently working as a full-time artist. However, I am a licensed and certified speech language pathologist, and it is a priority of mine to keep my continuing education certification current in that field.
