Today, our color inspiration comes from a high-flying collection of birding field guides from a Scott collector. Jerry Butler is an avid bird-watcher and loves spending time looking out the window and exploring the grounds around his home for beloved native birds as well as foreign flyers passing through the state. “March is a particularly good time to watch for new species because of the migration that takes place as winter draws to a close,” he says of the spring season. We’ve been reminded of all the beautiful colors of different types of birds, which are beautifully illustrated throughout Jerry’s collection. Don’t forget, color inspiration can be right outside your window! Read the full story online in the March issue here or find a copy on newsstands.
