May is an exciting month for families as the end of the school year approaches and seniors prepare for graduation. Our May issue’s entertaining feature honors soon-to-be high school graduates. That’s why I went the extra mile and it was a little more formal than probably what they are used to,” says Malcolm. Malcolm strayed from their school colors and used rich purples that give an air of formality, but are balanced with plenty of fun elements for the group of graduates. This Fayetteville homeowner opted to layer browns in his guest bedroom, using toile fabric in the bedding, furnishings and draperies, and then matching it with a custom wall color. Photographed by Rett Peek and featured in our Color Issue, the room exudes the same understated elegance as this look from Carolina Herrera’s Resort 2010 Collection.
