I had the pleasure of attending an absolutely lovely dinner party this weekend at an unabashedly Southern home in Pine Bluff. The food and dessert (strawberry cake and Italian cream cake, hello!) were delicious, and the tablescape was even better! Our hostess lined the dining room table with live St. Augustine grass (which she later added to her yard), and down the middle she “planted” live flowers, which we each took home as party gifts. Brilliant idea, and what a nice way pay homage to the waning days of summer.
Let us know what brilliant tablescapes you have up your sleeve... Send us some pictures with your name, city and a brief description of the tablescape, and we might very well feature yours on this blog! Email me: ppearson@athomearkansas.com
