With 2017 on the horizon, the Pantone Color Institute has selected their “color of the year” for 2017, Greenery. Described as a ”refreshing and revitalizing shade, Greenery is symbolic of new beginnings. The other side of 2016 is looking happy, fresh, clean and GREEN!
What is the Pantone Color Matching Institute, you ask? Simply said, they provide manufacturers’ in industries such as printing, fashion and home décor a standardized system to keep manufacturing of products consistent by referring to a color swatch number called a “pantone” color. The Pantone Institute unveils “hot” colors each year that help determine upcoming trends. Designers pay CLOSE attention to the forecast of the Pantone Institute, but this year there is a real buzz among the design community. Greenery is a fresh zesty yellow-green that conveys rejuvenation and new beginnings and it is my absolute favorite color forecast of my design career. Although it is a bright bold green, it will serve well as a neutral for many design applications and our team is excited to start designing spaces with accents of Greenery. Below I have featured products in the color Greenery and products in white/gold. White and gold pair beautifully with this strong color and after browsing my picks we think you will get as energized as we are… {photo credit: Pantone Institute}
Bungalow 5’s Jordan Cocktail Table in the color Spring Green is whimsical yet romantic. The European design also gives a nod to Asia with its chow foot. This table comes in four colors, but we are eyeing THIS SHADE! {photo credit: Bungalow 5}

Currey and Company’s Zhin chinoiserie cabinet in snow white adorned with handsome gold fretwork hardware would pair nicely with our new Pantone friend; don’t you think? {photo credit: Currey and Company}
Worlds Away has introduced the Campbell Lounger. Its refined barrel back and fab lime green lacquer finish make it one of my favorite “EN VOGUE” picks for 2017. {photo credit: World’s Away}
