What room would I most like to spend time in today? Reggie Marshall’s guesthouse in Little Rock, tucked away in his European-style garden, tops my list. (Reggie is the co-owner of the Little Rock antique shop Marshall-Clements, and a day spent wandering the shop is a wonderful day too).
I’d take a dreamy nap in this comfy bed, soothed by the blue-gray walls and bed draperies.

Spend some time writing, on beautiful, thick papers, at this 17th century Italian desk.
And then enjoy some tea and cakes on the balcony, with views to the garden. A dreamy day for sure, and you can read more about this cozy space here and here. For other inspiring garden spaces, take a peek at our March issue.

What a week it has been! At Home attended the Design Bloggers Conference in Los Angeles, and we’re back and ready to rejuvenate the At Home blog with all we learned.
Part of the insight came from a group of wonderful bloggers on a panel discussion Diane hosted. What a treat it was to meet and learn from Grace Bonney of Design * Sponge, Paloma Contreras of La Dolce Vita, Cassandra LaValle of Coco + Kelley, and Tracy Porter of Tracy Porter, Be Inspired.
Their inspiring blogs are all different, all fun, all full of a wide range of design ideas…which makes them perfect candidates for Friday Favorites. So for today, a few favorites that these ladies posted from their visit to LA for the conference.
Cassandra gave her LA hometown an homage in “Hello from LA” from Coco + Kelley
Tracy dished on a wonderful Sunday luncheon in LA in “Lunch at the Tony Duquette Estate Dawnridge” from Tracy Porter, Be Inspired
Paloma highlighted classic California design in “Currently Loving…” from La Dolce Vita
And Grace posted from LA all about design inspiration in “My Top 100 House Tours of All Time” on Design * Sponge

From art director Mandy Keener: “Loving these vignettes. Makes me want to go home and rearrange everything!” (From The Zhush: The Designer’s Eye)
From editor in chief Diane Carroll: “One of my favorite blogs, House of Turquoise, spotlighted a feature from our March issue. Love the linkage, thank you Erin!” (From House of Turquoise: Reggie Marshall’s Garden Getaway)
From advertising coordinator and style producer Laura LaRue: “I love every single thing about this room. Those black & white greek key pillows really stand out sitting on those bright yellow chairs. Such a bright & sunny room!” (From Bear-Hill Interiors: Decorating with Greek Key)
We all seem to be gravitating to sunny yellow right now; it was this week’s pick from account executive Katie Rawlings as well. (From Fric and Frac: Y is for Yellow)
Account executive Kathy Condrey is enjoying the architectural elegance of this Little Rock home, and wishing for green grass to return soon. (From Parkinson Building Group: Looking Back–The Thompson House)
Marketing coordinator Lauren Strother is cheering for some bright colors as well: “So very ready for Spring! This little posts gets me in the outdoor styling spirit.” (From Mrs. Lillien: Mrs. Patio)

Our March issue is hot off the press, and for today’s room…my favorite space from our cover story.
It’s the combo dining and living room in Dr. James and Debbie Tinnin’s Fayetteville residence, a space that positively glowed with light coming in the French doors when we were visiting for our photo shoot.
The Tinnins designed the house around a central courtyard, with a series of French doors leading to a dining terrace. Gleaming marble floors reflect all that light, as does reflective mirrored surfaces and sleek furniture.

The tone on tone style is so sophisticated, we love how just a touch of color in flowers and plants enhances the interior.
